Kids and Parents Pottery Workshop - Creature Creations

Learn how to make your own creature creation using the pinch pot technique. Come along and have some fun getting creative with clay. Everything is provided for you to make at least one pinch pot animal bowl or planter or mug. It's up to you what you make. The technique will be demonstrated and then you can create away!

This workshop is suitable for all ages but specifically designed for parents and their kids to create together.

Includes:

All clay, glazes and tools to use and all firing costs. Completed pieces will be available for collection on Saturday 31st July.

Tea, coffee, water and a light morning tea will be provided in an air conditioned premises.

Cost:

$40pp. Children aged 7yrs and under can participate for free with a paying parent (up to a max. of 4). Use the 'Special Instructions for Seller' box when booking to advise the number of children 7yrs and under attending. Parents not participating do not require a ticket.

Early booking is essential.

Children under 10yrs must be accompanied by an adult. No childcare will be provided. Parents are responsible for their own children.

Children over 10yrs may attend without an adult. Please advise when booking if ticket is for an unattended child. 

There is no reselling of tickets/bookings. If you are unable to attend after purchasing please contact Summer Freckles directly. If contact is made prior to 4 days before the event you will be eligible for a refund.

Working with clay can be a tricky journey of trial and error. At every stage there are multiple variances that can result in an unexpected outcome. This may mean a piece does not make it through to completion. This is part of the challenge and joy of the process. As such when participating in a Summer Freckles workshop no guarantee is given that at the end of the workshop you take home the expected items. All care will be taken but the understanding is that often the situation is beyond the control of Summer Freckles staff.
